Tried to update the software this weekend from 17.43.01 to the latest and keep getting stuck in the boot loop others have mentioned. I've tried removing the usb when the update gets to 2% per comments in other posts, removed the in line fuse for a few hours, still same issue. I just opened both usb thumb drives I downloaded the files to and noticed and opened the md5deep.exe file and it states:

Warning: you are running a 32-bit program on a 64-bit system.
You porbably want to use the 64-bit version of this program.

Is this typical?

At what point does the unit reboot during the update? There are 15 steps, IIRC...do you know what step it reboots at?

As far as the md5deep, its not an issue, just an app used to compare the file hash on the drive to what it should be and report back if its equal or not. It is NOT used by the update software.

Module 11 @ 1%, 67% overall I believe. The dreaded Sierra Wireless failure. I'm just hoping to get it back to prior state before the attempted software update. Any help is appreciated.

Have you gotten this resolved? I went to update the software and am now stuck in the "sierra wireless card" loop. I have been all over the web and none of the tricks seem to work (pull usb at 1%, hold buttons for 20 seconds, temperature buttons up and down, ) and nothing has helped. I am contemplating pulling the head unit, tearing it down and trying to re-seat the wireless card, but am wondering if I am missing anything that I should look into before I do that? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
