Under Armor Options

Hey Gents,

Now that my truck is getting older I want to show her a proper life.

I’m turning her into an overland truck. That being said, I’m obviously struggling to find armor for the under belly.

Have any of y’all had any luck doing so?

Hate to tell you, but I have been searching for skid plates and such myself and have found absolutely nothing for our vintage trucks... Heck, the nerf/step bars are hardly worth a dime for off-road protection. My 2500 is still basically a street truck, stock suspension and tires... When I get my new workshop completed and the $$$ to do it, I'll put a modest lift and 35" tires on the corners, then just break out the cardboard sheets, mock up and fab up some decent protection.

I'm not looking to do an overland as you are, but something to protect the underbelly from palmettos, sticks, stumps, and other gnarly things found in the Florida swamps where I hunt.
