Which side of the under seat tray are you looking to use for the sub box? Are you ok with lifting the seat or losing the fold flat floor?
I haven’t really played much with the under seat storage or the fold flat floor so I guess wouldn’t know what I was missing if I lose them!
The custom box made below your post by Cableman is what I would ideally like.

Sitting in my basement for now until i tackle installing it in my 16, but it does fit as i i did try that!
Still gotta carpet it, glad i didnt cause now i have black carpet!

Damn! That’s nice!
I will likely end up with something pre fabbed like the single 12 sealed fox box and alpine S B9DB67DD-76AE-4A1A-904B-5DF8D09F19F7.png

Yeah, it’s difficult to beat the type s in a bang for your buck sql subwoofer. Would’ve went with a dual 10 setup if I didn’t run into my slightly used 12TW3. I’ve heard one 10 inch in 1 cu. ft sealed box and was thoroughly impressed off 5-600 rms.

It only took me like 3 years to make lol moved to another house in the process so that took priority.
I copied net audio's design, check them out, makes some great boxes.

As Cableman said, Net Audio is probably the best quality prefab box you can get. I have the Passenger Side Tall box with a JL 12W6V3 and it will rattle your spine while giving you extremely high SQ.

A lot of cheaper subs are designed to get loud at the low end while playing Rap and other electronic music with synthesized bass. When you get into things like Rock with fast kick drums or something like Jazz with a fast standup Bass line or even R&B with intricate bass, the cheap subs can start to fall apart sonically and blend the notes together.

Here’s a bad photo of my setup. I really need to take better pictures...

Yeah, I’m kind of a car audio geek. You can put together a pretty great sounding system for a couple of grand though. You just have to plan carefully and figure in some way to process the audio. That can be a stand alone DSP or a multi-channel amp with DSP built in.

Buying used can also help if you check out the seller carefully. DIYMA is a good site for that.

I have been trying to decide, the alpine type s, sdr skar or infinity 1200w's, all 3 brands cost same. Or I may go with 10s instead of 12s, depending on the subs design.

I’ll help you with your decision by saying if the subwoofer is over 5.75” in top mount depth you’re going to lose your back seat(s). You can shim the subs up to gain clearance on the back of the enclosure but the seats also have to follow to fold down and clear.

When you start getting into pancake or shallow subs with huge diameter 6”+ motor assemblies, it creates another interference because of the taper in the floor pockets and you only have a few inches of depth.

Had to end mill a couple 1/4” deep blind holes in the bottom of the box before the taper to clear the terminals in my application.

Yes! Exactly, the taper in floor is biggest issue besides box airspace. This started out for me as a cheap budget system under 500, almost made it for that. I am there, but want some subs with good Sq that can handle lows. I have jbl gx302s in front corners, Infinity 3022cfx in center, jbl power series 6x9 in rear doors, all those combined cost around 150, found the older jbl power series 6x9s open box for like $30. The Amp pro ch41 I bought open box on Amazon, think it was $131 shipped. Box a member here made it and I bought it for $15 plus shipping, is excellent, fiberglass, very well made. And the Rockville db14 Amp was $114 new, 1000 watts rms, bonus came with install kit. Honestly, the db14 has been excellent over past year, zero issues. I have some Kenwood excelon 6.5s 2ohm, components out of my SS Camaro(were the best 6.5s Kenwood made in 2011), already have some 6.5 adaptors, was thinking adding those to front doors and the tweeters to ceiling, worst case, can put oem back in, since I have everything including harness would be free to try. Won't need as much bass in doors with the dubs.Oh and the butyl sound deadening and closed cell foam, cost about $60 for 2 boxes of butyl sheets and 1 box of closed cell foam. I need one more box of sound deadening for behind rear seat.

The 10” speaker shown above was just dropped more in price. I think I’m going to snag one... the 12” version is also a good price but is dual 2ohm which I was told to avoid.
Has anyone used the Atrend single 10 sealed box?
It has plenty of mounting depth, the right amount of air volume for the sub, and is cheap :)

Prolly lose some mounting depth with that box being mdf on the bottom, but if it fits im sure it will sound great for what your looking for.
Your getting the exact amp i wanna get also!

This is the best I can do up here and it’s a 10. A 10 would suit me fine though:

If your Amp is 1ohm stable get the dual 2ohm voice coil subs, if 2 ohm stable get the dual 4ohm ones. I bought 2, Infinity kappa 1200w subs today, $106 each shipped. If they don't work in the Rams box, will put them in my Camaro.
