Upgrade evic panel

Hey guys. Looking to upgrade the 3.5 evic to the 7. This is a 2017 2500, 6.4 gas. Does anyone know what it means during the part search; "without opt nba" , thanks all

No idea but any 14+ gas cluster (1500/2500/3500) will work.

According to the sales code chart, NBA is Light Duty Cycle. I have no idea what that signifies

Okay thanks. I've got the 2017 big horn with the 6.4. Looking forward to doing this upgrade. Did the push button start last weekend.

Couple different options. Infotainment.com (I believe) does or alfaobd. There is a member on here that still may do it. I'll try and find his name.
Your looking at probably a minimum of a $100 to have either someone else do it and roughly $150 depending on if you have either a android device or a windows laptop.

Mileage is stored in a couple different places as a redundancy. Mileage is stored in the cluster and remains in the cluster as it's own separate memory. Doesn't read from anywhere else.

If the mileage on the replacement EVIC is less than your current EVIC
You need to get a Certified paper with the mileage difference
This protects you when you sell the vehicle to another owner

Under the new rule, the odometer reading must be disclosed at the sale of a 2011 vehicle until 2031. 2012 vehicles will become exempt in 2032 and so on. The immediate impact is that 2011 vehicles will not become odometer exempt on January 1, 2021, as they would have under the older rule.

appriciate the info. i am not worried about selling due to being a truck i am upgrading strictly for show but i do have very low miles so i want to have the exact mileage. so what i gather, alphaobd CAN put the actual mileage on a evic cluster? i currently have a tradesman w the base model cluster.
