Hi all. I drive 25 miles a day on a rural highway with deer everywhere. People at work hit deer constantly, and I have to slow down or stop once a week to avoid deer.

I need better lighting. I do have a rcsb 2wd and do not want a big light bar on the cab or a grille guard with daylighters (I should, but don't want to on a 2wd) or anything, but I want better lighting, at least when nobody is driving towards me (almost never in the dark, because its 5am).

I have normal headlights, not quad or HID or anything.

Thanks for any ideas.

Edited to add: I want to black out everything, so keep that in mind with headlights.

If you have the budget, put a set of Rigid Industries Midnight edition in your fog lights. You can buy the lights and Mount from Rigid.

Oh wow, the mount actually is made for the ram fog lights, that is awesome. So, I would buy a mount set and 4 lights.

Or this? Flush mount in tow hook covers.
And I added 7" pods behind honeycomb grill after swapping inserts
Then swapped to Vanquish LED lows and fog bulbs

Very nice setup! I don't even remember mine having tow hook slots...I have the painted bumper, and I think I only have fog lamps with a big plastic thing in the middle, maybe 30 inches. I am out of town right now, but will check when I get home.

Baja Design Squadron Sport or Pro... with Amber covering. That also have mounting plates for specific specs.

You could also do a license plate mount. You can put a 10” light on there and it would look super clean.

^ I think a single row Light bar would look best in 10” instead of what is shown above. I could only find this photo just to give an idea.

See Rigid’s “midnight edition” for that blacked out look you are seeking. They are a ton of $$$$ and very bright.

Rough country has a basic kit with 8” light for a budget friendly application:

Oh ya, i forgot that. I tried it on mine 9 or 10 months ago but had issues with my parksense going off on drivers side. I could have got a smaller bar but went different direction

Very nice, thank you.

Also, any thoughts on blacking the headlights while getting more light?

Any thoughts on LED high and low bulbs? I use high beams about an hour every day, so I want LED for the lifespan.

Let me remind you guys how this is done....

2 10" Rigid SR Ambers, 2 10" Rigid E2 Hyperspots, 2 10" Rigid E2 driving/hyperspot pattern... 2 2" Rigid D2 Hyperspots and 2 hi/lo Rigid D2 driving lights in the fog openings. At tis point it matters not a whit that the OEM quad headlights suck ass....
