Upgrading speakers in 2015 2500

I am thinking about upgrading my speakers. I have the 5.0 system. Thinking about infinity 3 1/2 for the dash and 6 1/2 Polk DB series for frt and back doors. What speakers have any of you used? Did you use bass blockers for dash speakers? I am not sure if I should use 6x9 or 6 1/2's in the doors

Can't comment on bass blockers, I use a dsp for all crossover points. Buy what ever speakers you like and can afford. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to speakers. I have been using Dynaudio for a few years now and love them.
My take on 6.5's or 6x9's is this:
If you are going to run a subwoofer(s)...get some nice 6.5's for the doors.
If you are not interested in adding a subwoofer to the system, I'd go with a nice pair of 6x9's...as they will add a bit of low end ooomph to the music, while still sounding good.
