Hey all
Homelink console on way,now looking for measurments for fitment
Its out of a 3500,possibly pics of speaker placement x2 and mic placement x2
complete harness included so hopefully P&P

Looking to avoid Buying a new headliner, unless I really mess up
If any 1 having the upper console could possibly measure opening, placement of cut out
Figure I'll have a little more room to move around in cab once steering wheel is off.
Upgrading the Volume controls on it aswell
Hopefully able do at same time

Any other advice more than welcome

Thank you,Ron

You will need to enable the EOM (electric overhead module) code if you want the Homelink to work and the Compass module code if you want the compass to show on the radio and speedometer. You can do it with the Alfa tool or possibility have the dealer do it. In some cases the code is not visible to the dealer depending on your trucks trim level and options. The Alfa tool can enable the codes regardless on the 13 to 18 Rams. If you have the complete harness it should be a plug and play after the codes are enabled.

No, you would only need it for the unlock code for the radio. Installing the Homelink/Compass module doesn't requre any unlock codes. Enabling the codes with the Alfa tool is easy. You may need to clear the Homelink of any garage doors it was previously programmed too. After you set the EOM code you can press the buttons. If they say transmitting in your speedometer EVIC they are programmed and need to be cleared. You just hold the buttons down in a certain sequence. Its It's explained in the owners owner's manual. These are the pics of the EOM and Compass settings in the Alfa. You may also need to set the compass orientation and mounting angle but it will most likely work correctly by just enabling the codes. 5d000a9a705c3b7ee9fc5b242b9914b7.jpg1819b2a977d32d0da3cfb2ad517f8b65.jpg
