Any one else notice how soft the upper coolant hose is? Ive notice it a few times when the truck is off mine will collapse down to almost flat.
went and bought a new one, haven;t installed it yet but the new one seems as soft as your ****** after seeing Hilary Clinton naked...

Are they supposed to be this soft... my Auto experience says no, but since its a upper hose an expands under pressure maybe its ok?

Sounds like you got some uneven pressure. Soft hose is normal (giggidy) lol. Park your truck on a slight incline and let it idle up to normal operating temperature with radiator cap off. Once up to temp add coolant as needed until it's topped off and put radiator cap back on wile the motor is running. It worked for me to even out the pressure and remove any unwanted air in the system.

I'll try this.. I saw a post about coolant and when I was grabbing some gear out of my place this weekend, I saw it there and remembered I had it... Actually I haven't even looked to see if its still an issue since dealer had the heads off....

I'll have to look

Try a new Rad cap. The cooling system shouldn't be creating enough ~vacuum~ in the rad to collapse your hose,,, unless the cap is not allowing the Rad to refill itself from the overflow,,,.
