USB Media Issue

Just got a 2017 1500. I can not get the console usb to read a flash drive. Keeps saying device not supported.

I think it is because it is to big but I can find no specs anyway to verify its capacity or format support.?


Does anyone now where I can look this up?

How big is the drive you are using? I have a 64g with no problem. However i have a twin to it the will not work at all. Says error reading drive. I have even reformatted it and still won't work. Plays everywhere else but not in either usb port. Go figure

The working one, How s it formatted - NTFS -FAT 32?
Is it USB 2.0 or 3.0?

So I was able to solve this. I finally hit the combination thru trial and error.
USB 2.0 formatted to FAT32 and set as a Logical drive. I was able to use a 128 GB drive in the truck.
