ahahah yea if it still runs it did not 'slip a ring'
Which begs the question, what is a "slipped ring."

If you have a dead cylinder your fuel mixture would go rich instead of lean because that cylinder would not be getting it burned. Lean mixture can sometimes be a ready to die fuel pump not deliverying the right amount of fuel pressure

Modern fuel management systems shut off the injector and disable the coil when a misfire repeats so many times per second, so, the engine WILL run lean!

There is your correct answer, you may have a broken ring, But who knows, a compression test may show something.
I have no clue what your code is for and never looked it up.
the one code that shows is P2098 fuel bank 2 lean condition. An I know there are a few reasons why this would happen. Mainly too much air getting in. From what I read an i appreciate all of your guy's information an suggestions.

I was watching a post from Dave's auto service? last night, and they had a 150 ford Eco boost , v6 gas that had a misfire, Dealer said needs a motor at 150,000m.
Dave check compression, all good, thought it was oxc sensor , turned out to be a couple poor injectors. one bank was too lean.
Slipped rings, :laughing1: either you did not hear correct, as that is my problem,
I have not heard Her for last 10 yrs, unless she is looking at me.
Or your wrench puller is full of it and don't have a F clue.

I heard that a coked up canootin' valve will cause a slipped ring!:anitoof:

I first ran into the canootin valve yrs ago on a Gather music program , one of the singers was having trouble with the tour bus, deep south, so I quite understand how that could happen.
I can see his face, but name?
:fishing1:Don't think they ever found one.

I will go for Pro Engine LLC I bought their engine through eBay and they are very good people The idiot or the people of my job that dropped my engine I called them and And I explained to them what happened and they say they will cover it to see how bad it is if they can repair it or completely replace it The only thing I have to pay is to ship it back to them and then ship it to me back to my house but there are very good people and I highly recommend them

For a 2014 Ram 1500, the safest bet is still a reputable salvage yard or a well‑known engine distributor. Mixed reviews usually mean inconsistent rebuild quality, and that’s a headache no one wants. The Blue Prism automotive used‑engine site has been getting a lot of positive vibes lately because they focus on verified used engines with documented mileage, which is exactly what matters for long‑term reliability.

code p219b is the code that is coming up on the scanner.
Loose intake manifold bolts can cause that code, check and see if they're still tight.

The Canootin' valve is obfuscated by the cold copper clapper housing, which is typically somewhere under the rainbow, quietly diffusing franulated goesling phantom phasing! Gee, do I have to explain everything?:893karatesmiley-thu

Thank you I am gonna take a look at that here thanks for the torque specs the shop said they were ok but it's still good to check anyway.
