Hi all. First time posting here and I am very new to wheels and tires. Long story short, I had a really good deal on wheel and tires but didn't realize they are 5x5 instead of my 2016 RAM 1500 SLT 2WD. Here are the rims:

I got 5 of them with tires that are still in really good condition for $400. I was wondering if I can use a wheel adapter to use these? I see that there is an offset and I am not really sure how wheels are haha. My RAM 1500 is stock height and these wheels have 255/75R/17 tires on them. Thank you for the help!

Also, I'd like to level my truck. Any recommendations on a leveling kit? I heard just getting spacers is a no go for ball joints and stuff. I purchased this a while ago and not sure if it's a good idea to put htem:

Thank you for any input!

For the wheels it depends what you want the final outcome to look like. You can get an adapter to change the bolt pattern, but it will also space the wheel out. The minimum thickness you’ll need is at least 1.5” and that would most likely still require trimming the stock lugs down a little to avoid contact with the back of the rim. With a 1.5” spacer and stock lugs there is a few mm on the end of the lug that sticks out past the spacer. Usually a 1.5” wheel spacer wouldn’t need trimming the lugs because there are little pockets of space on the back of the wheels that the lugs tuck into and still allow the rim to sit flush on the spacer, but since you are also changing lug pattern I don’t think that will be the case. If you don’t want to grind down the lugs, you’ll need a 2” spacer. With a 2” spacer on the rims you linked above, the effective offset will be -15, which will fit but your wheels will stick out past the fenders about an inch or a little more. I personally like the look of wide tires past the fender a little, but since the tires from the Jeep are only 255 width it could look a little odd having skinny tires spaced out like that. So the long answer is...it should technically work fine but you may not like how it looks. Personally I’d try re selling the wheels and tires and look for something that is a better fit for the Ram.

Avoid using wheel adapters but if you have to I would only use steel ones made in the USA. Check offset so it doesn't look like a brodozer rollerskate.

Thanks guys. Might just have to resell. Maybe make some profit too. Any recommendations on level kit for a 2wd ram?
