Hey all,

getting ready for my first tow with my 2019 2500 Cummings. Do I just engage the engine break from the beginning and let it work it’s magic? This is new to me so I just want to check. Towing a 2008 travel trailer for reference.

Have towed before but had a 1500.

thanks all!

I would use the exhaust brake in auto every time I drive the truck, except winter conditions. DO NOT use on icy roads.

Hit the button and enjoy the tow

If your towing the same trailer that you did behind the 1500, try not to forget it's behind you...lol

Follow up question.... I have the engine brake switch next to the tow/haul switch. Are you saying use that all the time?
Thanks sorry for the newbie question!
