How about this, and maybe Moes Performance could chime in...

A) No Tune
B) 180 tstat
C) shutter delete
D) v6efan install
E) Mech fan removed

will this work to turn fan on early?

if you are only doing the v6 fan than you should just tune for the fan or email moes directly about that controller. If you are dead set on running a separate controller instead of tuning for it than I have another thread somewhere for the pwm controller that I run.

Just wire that thing in with only the high speed hooked up and be done with it. None of this half ass cooling is needed when I’m working it hard!

Might need some circuit upgrades depending on the amp draw however.
It ties directly to the battery and uses a 50 amp fuse. That thing draws so much air through it’s insane. Even if your vehicle was purpose built for the track I think it’s to much airflow at max. Probably freeze the coolant. :D

Its not that im dead set its just to expensive to go to tuner route like HP or local and I got a deal on a Edge Pulsar.

I want to do all i have on my list. I just wanted to see if i can turn fan on earlier to support the 180 tstat.

If its to much troube with a pwm or seperate controller. I will maybe do plan B.

Plan B)

Shutter delete
180 tstat
&
no efan or removal of mech fan.

Yea you’re better off leaving the mechanical fan if you’re trying to save a few bucks. The controller I use currently is a nb-50. Their is a cheaper one. The autocool55. Best bet is a tuner. I did this for full control. The fan does not just turn on and off. It will run at a low speed from around 160° or so depending on what you set and gradually increase as needed to maintain whatever you set as your desired temp. My truck hardly ever goes over 199°. I have a 190° tstat. I have noticed while cruising my fan may not even turn on or will run at the minimum fan speed instead of cycling on and off like the stock fan. You have to wire everything yourself which if you’re knowledgeable about electrical than you would be fine. The controller I am testing requires a different fan and a whole wire harness and module which as a package is about 700$.
