Valves

So i have a 3.6l, rocker went bad n tore up the lobe on intake cam, so im in a discussion with some family, all cams r removed along with rockers n timing chains to cams, but crank wont do a full rotation, they are saying i still have valves open, im saying that i dont, who is correct? Im thinking something got dropped into the spark plug hole, oh by the way, the head was removed on the side i had the rocker arm go bad, i thot i had bent a valve also, so only 1 head is still on motor, thx

Might as well pull other head to verify.

Pretty much. That far in, it's only a few more bolts & an another gasket.
