So after many hours of reading the forums and researching the multitude of LED brands, I decided to go with lows and fogs from Vanquish Auto for my 2015 1500 Express QC with the quad reflector headlights. The customer service has been fantastic and they are very responsive. They gave me a 20% off coupon which helped make the decision.

Headlights:

I went with the Philips over the Cree bulbs, no cancellers needed.

Fog lights:

I added the cancellers as recommended.

I got the lights installed this weekend without any real issues…other than breaking all 4 tabs taking the grille off…oh well. Ordered replacements from Clips and Fasteners for anyone interested: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Chrysler-Grille-Moulding-Clip-68213168AA-p/a21791.htm.

The heat sinks on the lows were a little tricky to get situated in the housing but ended up ok by taking them off and putting them back on after I put the bulb in.

Wow, these things are really bright! Way better than factory. The lows have a nice distinctive cut off and don't really seem to scatter much, if at all. The cutoff is pretty much right where the factory bulbs were so I didn't have to adjust them.

The fogs don't seem to fit as snug in the socket as the lows but they appeared ok. I mentioned this to Vanquish and they had me double check which fog light bulbs actually came out of the truck. Even though it should have been the H10/9145, it came with the 9006 bulb from the factory. They said that happened to another customer and they will be swapping them out for me. They told me the 9006 is 2-2 ½ time brighter and won’t need the cancellers. I put the halogens back in for now and will get these in as soon as they arrive.

I am very impressed and completely satisfied. I do believe that you get what you pay for and these light are completely worth the price!

Good post, thanks for the links. I've been considering doing these also. Is there a write-up or guide on removing the grill and light bodies, etc anywhere? I assume the kits come with instructions on installing/connecting the bulbs/connectors/cancelers?

Have you been getting flashed by oncoming cars after the change? I have leveled front end and 35's and had to turn the stock lamps down 6-7 turns to get cutoff level back down to stock height.

Can we tell what type of fog bulb we have without removing I wonder? Would prefer to be able to just order the correct one first :).

I am completely happy with mine as well from vanquish auto. But I have them on my Yukon. HID headlights and LED fogs since my headlights are projector style

I watched some YouTube videos on removing the grille and lights but still managed to break the 4 grille retaining clips. Vanquish included basic instructions with pictures, but it is pretty straight forward, everything only plugs in one way.

I haven't been flashed by anyone yet. The cutoff is within 1-2 inches of stock.

The fogs are pretty easy to pull out and check. Mine had 9006 stamped in the base by the bulb near the connector. You'll have to zoom in on the image, but it's there. ce8d747d2ad0ed19038966327a85e400.jpg

$240 is definitely less than sending them out. Not as good as HIDs in projectors but probably as good as I can get with the reflectors.

We have been doing full led retrofits this year so far and it’s finally well over hid in every aspect. It’s more work but it’s worth it. Just completed some led projector headlights for a challenger and will post pictures after I install them tomorrow.

the led kit we offer has no comparison on a reflector housing.

I think the way to go for ram trucks is switching to projector headlights and retrofitting them with our new led projectors. That’s game over right there. Exactly what was done with this challenger

What if you already have projector headlights? Do you just open them up and swap them out to LED projector? How bright are these compared to HIDs in our projector housings?

Does anyone have the stock projector style headlights, and upgraded the 9006 fog light bulbs to these LED's, and if so how do you like them ? The reason I ask is, I have seen some LED bulbs in place of the stock fog light bulbs, they look brighter & whiter from the outside, but they sure don't project the light or cut off line.

I’ve got a set of 9005 LED highbeam bulbs in my factory projector headlights from vanquish, and I really don’t think you’d need to upgrade to the brighter 9006. I mean I guess you could if you just really wanted to but as far as I’m concerned, my 9005 LED’s in my highbeams are plenty bright. Maybe its cuz they’re coupled with the vanquish HID 9005’s in the projectors, I dunno but I’m pretty pleased with them.

I can’t wait to get my vanquish 9006 LED fogs in this weekend.

maybe it's glare from the camera, but it looks like you'd blind everything within a 3 state radius with that setup.

Yep, but only if I'm stupid enough to drive with them on in traffic...lol
