I would guess that the only question might be, is there a difference under track conditions? I read what your tests showed Hemi, but I think they would like to know from track experience. Just thinking out loud----

Very true, we would need someone to run the quarter with it on and off.

FWIW S&B claims their filter wraps diminish airflow by 3-5% so I would assume it would be similar for the Air Grabber...

If push comes to shove I guess someone could have it on during any street or highway use and then if they go to the strip they could remove it and then put it back on after they get done racing. This would be for the serious racers, the street racers would just have to decide if it was that important-----

For the butterfly season I had my S&B with the wrap vs the Vararam without a wrap I'd take the 3-5% over a filter stuffed to the gills with dead butterflies, leaves, and road dust for daily use. If I was trying to get the best out of each run I'd probably show up to the strip with a fresh filter and no wrap.

I’m glad to see that this is helping out a lot of people. It’s awesome that they are going to produce it and not charge the custom fee anymore

^^^^^I think they are still working toward that decision---hopefully soon. The more I think about the racing thing and the pre filter or not, as I recall some of the serious guys just take the lid and filter completely out when they are actually racing. I don't think I would but some do.

I talked with Linda today. She said they have made a decision to make the pre-filter a "regular" part and they will no longer charge the extra $15.00. Good news guys!!!!!!!! Just placed my order.

Will you post a picture of the blue when you receive it--Thanks
Jay
Of course. I wont be able to resist!
They are evidently trying to decide which colors to produce for the part#, so I just thought that it would nice against my silver/black. It was $25 plus $5 shipping. Done.

#100-4835. It is NOT on website, but if you call their # and ask for Linda tell her you are looking for that part for a Vararam, she will get your order. Many colors available I gather.
