So my friend put my truck on it's side in a ditch/farm field and I'm looking through it and noticed a cut harness hanging under the driver's side of the dash. Not sure what it is, can't find other half of the cut??? Blue plug with 4 wires coming out of it, I've attached a pic.

Tat is for a towing package. The brake controller connects to that blue plug. Either someone removed the tow package, or just did not know what that was and decided it was not needed. You might find the cut wires in the engine bay but not sure.

Where would the brake controller be normaily? It wasn't cut on the truck harness side, but the side that would attach to the brake controller if equipped. It looks OEM.

Ok open the truck door. Look under the dash to the left side. There will be a box that a lot of wires go into. The factory connector, if equipped, will be at the top of that little box and it is blue.

Here is a link with a picture of the location:

Most years of the Ram have the same connector in the same location.
