Where do I obtain vehicle specific schematics for a 2019 Ram Power Wagon with the 12” Uconnect system? I’m trying to trickle charge my battery with a solar charger via the dash cigarette lighter outlet (switched to batt at fuse 90/91) but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there an isolation of some sort in the circuit? Thanks.

Okay. Where is everyone? I normally get plenty replies within hours after posting a query. It’s been two days and nothing. I’m sure I posted this in the most applicable forum: 5th gen Audio & Electronics. Help please.

I posted this a week ago in the 5th gen Audio & Electronics page but have received ZERO responses. Did I post in a place that nobody looks at? Anyway, I have a 2019 PW and need assistance. So far folks in this forum have been able to answer all my questions. I’m counting on you experts to continue with the trend. Thanks for the help.

Please let me know if there is more info needed in order to address the above. Again, thanks.

There may be a one way diode preventing back feed. I'll see what I can find

It's not the best option but it is an option. Just go to your parts store get a female aux socket and wire it in maybe?

Check your underhood fuse block. Some of them you can move the fuse between "on" with key and "on" constantly. Most are shipped as "on" with key.

That is the fuse I mentioned in my original post. Already done that. Your comment about a diode in the circuit is probably the most likely cause. That’s why I need the schematics.

My bad. I missed the part in your OP where you switched the fuse. Actually, the diode part was courtesy of Brandon-w so hat-tip to him.

You can get a 1 day subscription to Tech Authority to download the schematics from FCA.
