When I plug my S8 in to my power ports in my truck (2015), I always get a notification on my phone that there's not a good connection and I should plug it in to a different charger (aka, it's getting crappy power). Then, my son hopped in my truck this weekend with his iPhone, which we tried and even he couldn't get a good charge. I've plugged my phone into every orifice in that and at best I can get my phone to stay neutral, but I'd be hard pressed to actually charge it, and many times my battery continues to drain even when plugged in. On my last truck (2013), I installed a few additional outlets which provided additional power for rapid charge, but even my factory outlets on my 2013 would at least provide a standard charge. Any thoughts on why my juice is weak on my 15'?

Are you using factory phone cables for charging? I’ve found aftermarket ones to be questionable in quality with symptoms similar to yours.

If that is not the issue, maybe look at your battery cables if there is any corrosion (simple fix) and that your battery tests ok.

I have had terrible luck with batteries in most of my vehicles and never seem to get more than 3 years out of them. Knock on wood, my 14 has yet to have any issues but the mere fact that I am typing about it will make it fail in 3...2..1. Lol.

I've tried multiple cables - factory/non. My truck is in the shop at the moment, but I'll definitely check the battery and it's terminals when I get it back. You're right, the battery could be getting close to expiring.
