It has independent front suspension, not a live axle so it cannot be rolled and shifted forward. There are no radius arms.

Well then I am at a loss with out actually being there to look at the truck. Sorry.

I am a mechanic but sometimes I just need to look at the vehicle to see the problem. With it being that new it’s hard to tell. With only 19,000 miles on it I would take it to the dealer

When did this issue start? Did you have the issue on factory tires before you switched them out? I think it's going to be a balance issue. What kind of level kit are you running? And before you take it to the dealer you may want to remove the level kit as it may be grounds to void your warranty. There has been alot of issues with the coil spacer style level kits and dealers are voiding warrantys because of that.

Got the same issue. Tires were high speed balanced on a new machine 2nd day local Mavis tire opened. Took them to another place and have been road force balance twice. The place that I had them RF balanced made a few calls to some other 4x4 shops . They have stopped installing leveling kits on Ram 1500's. To many end up with vibrations they can't resolve ????

I had a rear vibration issue , rotation did not work , " re-balance" did nothing , new tries and "balance also no joy . To day I went to my favorite Father and son garage had them do a balance took over an hour they found that most of the previous balances were no good and incompetent ., took the truck out for a test got her up to 110 zero vibration now .

So tomorrow I am taking the 35/12.50-17 Gladiator mud tires off the factory wheels and put 285/75-17 AMP all terrain tires on the factory wheels and see if that helps. If not, well the truck goes back to the dealer for an intense search for the issue. I have read online that it can be a rear drive shaft issue, a bad set of rear shocks, or something else. I just hope the dealer does not void my drivetrain warranty because I have run larger tires on the truck. She has just over 20,000 miles now and is a 2016. Whatever the issue I need to find out what it is and get it fixed! I have had the AMP tires before, seem to be good tires, probably should have kept them in the first place! 285's are plenty big enough for my use.

It was pretty funny as the owner learned from my Dad I reminded him that the last tires I balanced were on my Dart done on a bubble balance ( Firestone police tires btw)

I am taking the Gladiator XComp 35/12.50-17's off the factory 17x7 wheels Wednesday and go back down to a AMP A/T 285/12.50-17 on the same factory 17x7 wheels and have these road force balanced, put them on and see what I get. I did notice that the 35's on factory wheels rub just a bit on the upper spindles but the thing that has me at a loss is there is just a faint vibration from 45 to 55 and a really hard vibration from about 58 up. And it is not a constant, it is like a synchronization is going, vibration comes and goes sort of thing. I see nowhere on the rear driveshaft where weights may have come off, no shocks appear to be leaking or damaged, everything I have checked front and rear seems to be tight. I just do not know what to think about this! Ill report my findings after Wednesday and drive it for a while.

Had a similar issue on my Journey after replacing the factory tires, it was so bad I ended up returning the tires and going with a different brand and shop. After the second set of tires I took it to the dealer and they suggested a road force balance. I was skeptical but was running out of options. The road force balance was definitely the issue for me. Hopefully that works out for you too.

As much as a pain it would be, I wonder if I should take my 2" front leveling kit out and have it re-aligned and see what happens. I sure hate to bust all that stuff loose to find it did not change anything. Its a real pain to pull out the front struts but oh well. I just do not really know what else to do!

So, I did not take the leveling kit off yet, but did take off the Gladiator 35's and the factory wheels and mounted new wheels and tires and yes the wheels have hub centric wheels at that. The tires are 285's and I still have this mystery vibration going on at 55mph up, but the catch is its not all the time, like it syncs in and out and sometimes its constant. I am at a loss about it, but since I have the leveling kit on the truck Im pretty sure if I take it to the dealer they will void the drive train warranty since my truck is 2016 with under 25000 miles. Suggestions? Its a regular cab long bed 4wd hemi tradesman

Update: I took the 2" lift blocks off the front of my truck. Id say 65% of the synchronizing of the vibration went away, but now its a constant vibration from around 60 up to 80+mph. I think now if I go get a good road force balance and a new front end alignment from a reputable place this may finish out the vibration issue. I guess that 2" threw the front outer axle shafts just enough to be a real pain in the butt. Truck looks a little funny now, but it will do.

I have been fighting the same symptoms for 8 months on my new 2017 RAM 1500 4x4. I added then removed a 3" leveling kit. It improved the ride but did nothing for the random vibration. I don't think it's tires or wheels. My vibration can be felt at any speed but is most noticeable at highway speeds. I had a loose left front drive axle. They fixed that. Also, my engine was missing. They fixed that. I've had several different shops and the dealership try different balancing and moving tires around. Symptoms don't change. That eliminates tires and wheels. We have suspended the truck multiple times and can't duplicate a vibration except for when the front axle shaft was loose. I also occasionally feel a grinding if I stop forward motion, put it in reverse and hit the gas a little quick. I think the problem is the limited slip differential. I constantly hear the back tires bark when I turn corners. I've always driven trucks with limited slip rear ends and never had my tires constantly bark like this one does. I now have a RAM care specialist that is supposed to contact the dealership as the truck is going back for a 5th trip. I will keep everyone posted.

How did they determine the engine was "missing"?

Well, it started shaking so violently that I wouldn't even drive it to them and it threw a code. The code told them it was missing. If I remember correctly, they had to replace two coil packs. The truck had about 8k miles when that happened.
