viper remote start?

are these hard to install on the 05's?
found one for $50 and ive wanted one for a while.

My installer put in my Compustar and it took pretty much half a day and they do it all the time.If you have all the motion stuff and auto window roll up /sensors, it is for a professional IMO.

my truck accessories are all manual. no power windows, locks,mirrors,seats.

I'm not an installer, however my experience is similar to Roktman's...

One big issue with our trucks is the imobilizers. You need a card programmed to work with your truck to make it work.

Without any shock sensors, it took my guy about 3 hours to do mine... again, compustar, which are supposed to be one of the easier ones.
