I have a question. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express. I recently have upgraded the headlights to aftermarket ones, the cluster to the 7" sport, went from RA1 to the RA4 radio, and added the rearview mirror with microphone. My question is do upgrading to these items void the warranty if the dealership found out? Thanks

In a perfect world what he says is true. In reality, if you have lets say any HVAC issues and your dealership service dept. has to go under the dash to trouble shoot and sees your piggy backed wire harness and mods, do not expect them to go any further and stop the job and flag it.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

They can't void your entire warranty but they can deny a damage claim if they can reasonably show that the cause of the failure is related to the improper operation or installation of a non-covered part.
Hootbro's example is spot on. Now if you went in with engine problems, you'd be good, but if it came to electrical then it would depend on the dealership.

Awesome good to know thanks everyone!! I had asked about my dealership about adding a backup and how much it would be for the parts and the install. It shows in the computer that I still have an RA1 so they said I needed the camera with the mirror. I didn't want to say that I had switched radios in fear of them voiding the warranty now I know thanks again!
