I have the basic (6) speaker system not even with U connect. Picked up everything to do a SQ install, and then changed my mind. I currently have mounted and wired a Match PP 82DSP. When this was first installed and turned on, it transformed the dull boomy system into a concert on wheels. Would it win a SQ competition, no but for just adding one piece it is amazing. So much so that all that I've acquired is now up for sale. Here is some reading information on this DSP for those whom are interested.

Very nice DSP, looks like it's basically an amplified Helix and Helix is one of the best for sure!

Helix, Match, and Brax are all part of the same company and all brands that I deal with. The good part about this DSP/ amp combo is that it's an all in one deal. The bad part is since we're can-bus they don't make a simple harness for this puppy.

Audiotec-Fischer makes some great stuff. Adding a DSP and having a tune (even basic) will make almost any system sound a hundred times better. Glad to see someone trying out something different in our trucks.

You know, I like this piece a lot. Like you said, if a guy was to buy one piece...this little unit should be on your short list. It puts control back into the owners hands, wakes up the system thanks to it's amplification abilities, and can put the factory speakers (or aftermarket) into their comfort zone by crossover controls. This is cool

Had 3 Brax amp's in one of my BMW's and loved em... pricey but well worth it imo!

Well sadly in my SQ Legacy I run (2) Brax amps. I say sadly as my wife now owns that car. So it will never see its full audio potential.
