Got some wax on my splash guards and the bed rail caps the other day. There's lots of info here and on the web how to remove it but it seems most is bunk. Does anyone know a sure fire way to get it off? Thanks.

most cleaners/degreasers will strip wax, dish soap included.

standard car wash soap and a small brush then scrub like hell. be a good idea to tape off anything painted in case you slip

Good ol' dish soap. I prefer the grease fighting power of Dawn myself, it's what I start with if I'm going to be polishing or doing any paint correction. It will strip any wax off, so just watch they you don't wash the whole panel or you'll strip all the wax off and have to reapply.

If that doesn't work, a detailing forum told me to use one of those big pink erasers. It worked for me after nothing else on my bed rail covers.

Trick I learned us to use a rubber eraser. The rectangle ones we had in school work perfect

Mr. Clean magic eraser. BAM!
(I was going to say Dawn dish soap, but on a targeted area like this you can't beat the magic eraser)
