hey everyone, recently as i was driving after recovering from being ill i noticed a new sound from my truck while driving. Its almost as if a stick it being dragged along metal bars, i dont know if you did that as a bored kid but i did when i walked around places. its coming from the right front so it cant be my front diff or the sound would be from the left. Could it be a wheel bearing or something worse? cant test the bearing right now because my jack doesnt work.

It shouldnt move any.

I know i was just hoping it would last till i get my new job and then i could spend the money to get a more pricey part since i take the truck off road. cheap parts are most times weak parts and i dont want to break any more of them.

When you do go to replace the u joint you might as well do the other u joint and the ball joints too. You don't want to skimp out on components like those.

Could be something as simple as the scraper on the front pads telling you it's time for new pads up front.
