So, out of nowhere my front speakers, dash and doors are all dead as well as the back window lock on the driver side door control unit.

No fuses appear to be out and my amp(which powers the speakers) is powering the rears fine.

Cruise control button is also almost impossible to turn on unless I mash it but that feels like different problem.

We certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you are not able to determine a solution based on suggestions from fellow forum members and you decide to address this with your Ram dealer, please be sure to follow up with us via private message. We would be more than willing to escalate your situation to a specialist who can work alongside you and your dealer while your truck is in service.

So you have zero sound from the factory sound system?

Not sure what a back window lock is. On my Ram 1500's, I thought it was just one button on the driver's door controls locked all windows.

Edit- I see you mentioned an amp. Aftermarket electronics opens up a whole'nother can o worms.

Only the front speakers are out oddly enough. Not factory however.

Oh does the window lock control all windows? I thought it was only the back. But yeah, that button on the driver’s side controls does nadda now. Weird.

I've had similar electrical gremlins. Mine are only with my sound system where sometimes I get in and start my truck and my radio will be lit up and I can change between am/fm/aux but get no sound or response from the radio when I try to turn my volume up or down. At my wits end trying to figure this one out on my own and might just take it to a shop.

Posting this so I can see what suggestions you get.

Well, I made some progress.

I swapped the front/rear RCA’s from the Sony amp and lo and behold my front speakers now work, while my rears, do not.

I also can’t hear anyone from the center channel speaker when making phone calls...

I’m leaning towards the head unit being jacked up?
