Hey everyone!
I’ve got an 2022 1500 Classic Tradesman with 19,600 miles. Out of the blue I started having a couple funky electrical issues happen this morning. I had to move my truck out of our driveway this morning to put our trash cans out. As usual, I moved onto the street and hopped out while leaving the truck running and when I got back to it, the truck was locked. (Luckily I grabbed my spare and could get inside.) I absolutely did not hit the lock button in the cab when I got out.
Then I ran to the grocery store, and on my way home while waiting to turn right, I got a couple of messages on the Instrument Display saying “Right Rear Turn Signal out”, “Right Front Turn Signal Out”. The blinkers were hyper flashing on the right side when these messages appeared too. About a minute later everything was back to normal, and the messages disappeared. It did rain here overnight, so could something have gotten wet that shouldn’t have? The truck is completely stock, except for silver star halogen headlight bulbs. I don’t have any LED’s. Any assistance on what I should look at would be awesome! Thanks guys.

I’m definitely no expert, especially with anything electrical, but would get your battery tested. Weak batteries can cause all types of codes/ problems with our trucks.
I’m sure you’ll get some more knowledgeable members responding
that will be able to give you details & suggestions to help you.
Good luck

This, check battery first and report back...

Little update. I decided to peek at the right rear bulb and it looks like this. Half of the filaments are fried while the other side isn’t quite there yet. I wonder if this was causing resistance in the circuit and freaking the truck out? Just a guess. As far as my battery, I just had a new Mopar one installed about 3 months ago when I had a recall done on the truck for my instrument cluster not powering down, which killed the old battery. I had an extra bulb laying around so I replaced the bad one, but have a new pair coming tomorrow so both rear bulbs should be good to go. I’m gonna wait and see if the door lock thing happens again. Thanks again for everyone’s replies. I’ll keep y’all updated IMG_1802.jpeg

Interesting. I know a guy that had this happen to him. He had all the electrical connectors disconnected, cleaned and reconnected. He also did the connectors on the bottom of the TIPM and the problem never came back. Some of the connections had corrosion on them.
Thank you. Tonight the message is now on constantly and that right rear bulb is totally out. Another thing I noticed is while my instrument cluster indicator is hyper flashing, the right front blinker flashes at normal speed like nothing is wrong. I’ll clean the connectors tomorrow when I replace the bulbs with the new ones. I don’t have a wiring diagram but does the TIPM also control the taillights? Would a battery disconnect/computer reset maybe solve this?

Truck is still under warranty. I tried the new bulbs and they lit up when I unlocked the truck. Once I turned the key on, I got the message again on the dash and the bulb is out. I’m gonna make an appt at the dealer

I’m picking up the truck tomorrow. The dealer said there was a loose connector near the right rear taillight. They also replaced my clock spring in the steering wheel because that was causing this annoying popping noise when I would turn the wheel back and forth. Happy it’s all fixed

Glad they found it, it can be a pain to run this stuff to ground...
