And don't forget, it could even be a tax deductible expense. My current RAM is indeed a tax deduction, fully legitimate, fully deductible. Depends on your situation (and vocation), of course.

I just go into hiding Mike,lol. My wife is of the age where she's going through the female change,and if she's in a bad mood,i find it easier to go into hiding or disappear for a few hours

So true, I've been married for put-near 39 years and sometimes it's best to just walk away, far away and keep your mouth shut.
I've found if the wife's happiness comes first, it's easier to get what you want second.

That's why I said that particular saying could be a little off. It's not in every case where the husband is happy when the wife is happy. But I've yet to see, in a functional marriage, a case where the husband is happy when the wife is unhappy.

I don't know your relationship status, nor is any of my business, but any time someone says that the happy wife / happy life saying isn't valid (or is a myth), the first thought that comes to mind is 'and that's why you're single, or on your way to being that'.

We just celebrated out 50th and that so called myth works for me. I keep her happy and she keeps me happy. It's just that simple and because we still love each other, keeping the other happy is actually easy.
