I personally use a Simpson 3400 with a Honda motor. Purchased it from tractor supply about three/ four years ago. It gets passed around the family every year and works flawlessly.

$1500 ? !!!! Unless that thing does everything for you it is not worth $1500 to get a pressure washer lol ...

I'll say this - until you've used one, there is nothing like it. I'm in the middle of the plumbing install and waiting on my hose reel to show up for my install.

Yes, it's pricey. But wow - it works great and having a simple on/off switch, plumbed directly to the house, and the pressure hose on a re - pretty sweet.

I'd put a board behind it or build an open front enclosure for it. They do have a tendency of leaking and water on the garage floor is fine, but the rest not so much.

Lol my craftsman works amazing lol ... and I can use it for anything from washing my truck to cleaning the driveways and garage doors ...

I have a Karcher 2401 that has held up for a long time. Honda motor is bulletproof. Only issue is the unloader valve likes to dry out and stick now and then.

Having owned and worked on probably 100 washers the one point I’d like to make is stay away from any gas washer that has a vertical engine and pump. They just don’t last.
