Just updated my Ram Limited to a 23 model and in the corner of the bed are these bolted in corner supports. What are they for?

Ram may have put them in there to keep the sides of the bed from falling off...lol

1st time I have seen braces like that in a RAM bed, hmmmmmmmmmmm. Somebody else gotta chime in got new truck, mine is a lowly 2019 Bighorn.

They are factory and only come with the Ram trucks that have the multi-function tailgate. Supposedly provide corner support and removing them allegedly voids the warranty.
This info comes from my buddy whose new truck has them and that is what the dealership told him. He wanted to remove them to install a retractable tonneau cover.

I guess I’ll leave them in. They supposedly have a bed cover designed taking in consideration of these brackets.
