Here's what mine sounded like before I decided to tear it down a couple years ago which was a big mistake. I haven't driven it since and it's in pieces waiting for me to get motivated to get the cage put in it. This was during my quest to have the fastest bone stock engine'd 2V Mustang on earth. I ended up capping out at 12.25@110mph on a bone stock engine with no power adder. Stock from oil pan to throttle body. I was told not to come back to the track until I had a cage installed after that.

I'm only in the first few races and in the last one, I missed the 1-2 shift somehow. Mine is the green car on the chrome Telstars with no passenger's side headlight. The blue one is a friend of mine and believe it or not, his made about 40 more horsepower to the rear wheels than mine. I was only running 256hp to the rear wheels at this point.

I used my 02 to tow my new-to-me 07 big horn home on a U-haul dolly that was WAY too small.

Bought the 07 running & driving with a misfire for a ridiculous price, but it's a 2wd - so it's a waste of a truck IMO...lol. So i'm going to put the entire body/electrical on my 02.

I'm not sure if I'm going to use the engine or not, it's a flex fuel 4.7. I've never messed with a flex fuel, how is the gas mileage in them compared to a normal 4.7?

Placed another parts order for the old girl today. I got poly steering rack bushings, inner and outer tie rods and ordered the reamer to flip my tie rods. This bump steer is going bye-bye, I'm tired of it.

Your truck is smokin' man, wish I could put that much work and TLC into mine.

im way too OCD not too lol

nuttin' wrong wit spray cans.......in the right hands....

thanks!

$300 with the grill/horizontal inserts/air shroud

Looks really good. But did you use an actual clear coat with a hardener or just rattle can clear that will never actually cure?

I use rattle can paint all the time for small stuff just because of the cost of actual paint. But I clear coat everything with legit urethane paint & hardener. Something about the fact that you can squeeze something with rattle can clear a month after you paint it & leave a fingerprint drives my OCD bat**** crazy. lol

its a rattle can clear coat that was made by body shops, it actually has a chemical hardener that you use a punch to mix in the can, once mixed it has a 24 hr shelf life before the can becomes useless, it last well over a year, ive sprayed many things with it and has professional results

Demon with that result of spray can paint you used, you can borrow my truck and paint the whole thing in spray cans lol

What brand of paint did you use?

been asked that a few times now lol

Maybe those people shouldn't be so quick to judge. :)

As for me I respect 99% of how people mod their cars and trucks. It gives you an insight as to what they like. :waytogo:

thanks man, alot of work went into making that thing shine like that, i plan on starting on a grill for that truck tomorrow...

I figured that's what you used. A very handy and cheap resource for trim & small parts! I use it whenever the booth is being used or I only have a few small parts that aren't worth the cost of the clear it would take.

I made a video of the new exhaust setup yesterday and finished editing it today. Check it out!

It's a simple muffler swap, replaced the stock muffler with Spintech ProStreet 9000 series muffler. 2.5in inlet/outlet with a custom y pipe to connect the tailpipes to the single outlet on the muffler. Drone isn't bad tbh, about the same as the stock muffler. i LOVE the throaty crisp sound it has now.

pretty much, for touch ups, small panels, simple things i can do in the garage i love using that stuff, but one day the truck will go in the booth and get a full respray

I just drove mine a little bit over the weekend. Had work done on the 4 Gen.

stev0n - Nice purchase. :waytogo: After you take the parts you want from the truck what are your plans for the rest of it?

Probably try to sell whatever parts don't get used or scavenged. I'm going to try to swap almost everything but the frame, rear end, & suspension. Throw a 3" body lift in their while it's getting swapped over, then drive it & work on my Nissan 240.

When I get the 240 done (hopefully by this time next year, my last semester in auto body school), I'll pull them both in the booth & paint them both the sunburst orange color.

Let me know if you come to the Montreal area! I will make sure you see the good stuff in the area if you are not familiar.

The closest I'll be getting to there is Albany, NY on the 22nd & 23rd of this month.

Oh and I'll be driving the 04 tonight.

I've got on Spyder CCFL Dual Halo Projector headlights, they were about $260 on Amazon for a set and they look great.
