Going to be changing my front rotors. Now here's the deal, anyone on here have a good or bad opinion of ACDelco heavy duty rotors? Specifically the ones in the pics. Now last time around I spent extra money & got Bosch rotors from O'Reilly's & I wasn't pressed. But I see rock auto tossed around allot in this forum so please tell me what you think and or suggest what you like. So these ones are coated, gonna try that kind this time. Thanks guys.
I have used AC Delco rotors on several truck and never had any real issues. A couple of sets has some minor warping after the first couple of heat cycles to where I had to end up turning the front rotors but other than that I have had good life and luck with them on some of my customers trucks.
Now, on the other hand, I have used this brake kit on 2 of my personal trucks and I think 4 of my customers trucks and they work great. No squeaking or warping in the early stages and 2 of my customers have over 30K on the set and still going good. Here is the link and they are a great price.

The 275/70/17's came on the factory off-road trucks. The 245/70/17's were the standard 17" tire for theThanks @ Fast69Mopar, those are a good price.
Another issue I could use help with. I've got the build sheet to my truck, & the tires that the build sheet lists are LT275/70R17C OWL All Terrain Tires. And I'm 99% positive that's my spare tire size, mounted on a steel rim. Which I need to address also as the tire is 16 years old under there. But anyway, so I've bought several sets of tires from Sullivan Tire, & they tell me to buy 265/70R/17 & so that's what I've run on the truck over the years. I need new tires & I've been mulling over getting the size on the build sheet. And of course I read somewhere to "always" get the size that's on the sticker on the door. Well I go out & looked at sticker & it says 245/70R/17.
I've been thinking about the 275 just cause their a bit wider, I live in New England so I figure wider would suit me well. But what's up with the 245? Pretty much all the websites say 265/70R/17 when I search by vehicle. So should I just stick with that? And between the 265 & 275, wondering if the difference is so small that why bother, stick with the 265 & be done with it. They are cheaper. Any thoughts guys? Thanks again

Wow, thanks for all that info. I won't ask where you found that cause when I was searching I was getting quite frustrated. Was thinking I'd have to email someone at Dodge. And yes my truck is 4 wheel drive. And it did come with the off road package. Thanks again, that helps me out.The 275/70/17's came on the factory off-road trucks. The 245/70/17's were the standard 17" tire for the
2002-2005 DR trucks. The 265/70/17's were optional. The next option for the 2002-2005 DR trucks was the Goodyear Eagle LS 275/55/20.
Is your truck 4WD?
The specs for the245/70/17, the 265/70/17 & the 275/70/17 are as follows:
245/70/17
30.5" tall
9.64" wide
265/70/17
31.6" tall
10.43" wide
275/70/17
32.15" tall
10.70" wide
The 275's are ¼" wider and just over ½" taller than the 265's. If you go with the 275's I always suggest adjusting the speedometer accordingly so it is as accurate as it can be. The tire size adjustment of the 2003 models is in the ABS module and can be set with a DRB-III, Star Scan or the WiTech as well as several aftermarket scan tools. It can also be adjusted with most handheld tuners.
I would stick with the 265's because the difference is so minimal and the price point is definitely cheaper.
Its possible that your truck came with the 265/70/17's when it rolled down the assembly line even though it is a factory off-road package. Anything is always possible. By looking at the wheels on your truck you have the 17" off-road wheels from what I can see in the pic.And ya know what, my speedo is off always, about 3 to 4 mph, and I've run the 265 always. So the factory must have set it to the different size that it came with. Totally makes sense now. I do have an old scan tool, but its just a reader. I'll have to look into upgrading

On the 2006-2008 model year trucks, if it has keyless entry it also has SKIM.I’ve been doing a lot of driving and getting started on a long-awaited project of mine
My only question is, can 2006-08 trucks come with keyless entry but NOT with the SKIM key?

What if some birdbrain guy like me wanted to add keyless entry AFTER adding power locks and windows? I wonder if OEM keyless entry even work right without SKIM, SKREEM, and the whole security shebangOn the 2006-2008 model year trucks, if it has keyless entry it also has SKIM.
