FWIW The only thing I've seen that ever stops the replacement one from doing the same in a year is industrial FIPG under the edge.

Oh I totally agree about the look which is why I triple checked the packaging. Everything that came with it indicated it's 14405BLK. I even called Corsa and sent them an email about it..

On the cars (I have a Corsa on my SRT) the BLK models are a black chrome and not a flat or gloss black like the Carven ones. I'm guessing the truck ones are probably the same? Those don't look like the regular tips (polished stainless). I have those on my car and theyre brighter.

^^^ You are right about that as they contacted me back and explained that they are black chrome. I really wanted black, but after listening to this via the highway/backroads. I am happy with my purchase decision.

Got myself a new mesh grille, looks much better now with the color matching.

I also have this little project going on. Color matching my switch panels on the doors. (I also did the rear ones but they aren't in the pic).

been working double shifts since april.finally got around to putting my camper tires on the truck.i traded my bnib fuel hostage with stock offset rims straight across for a set of mayhem 8060's with brand new 35/12.5 /20 general grabber at 2's from an older fella who wanted stock rims and tires.i haven't run an a/t for years so we will see.should be ok for my long highway trips.my toyo 35/12.5/20's m/t's on the ultra drifter rims are almost completely worn out so it's nitto ridge grapplers for the winter set in september.ordered them yesterday.2300 bucks.ouch.also,some ******** mirrored the drivers side of my truck.both doors.300 dollar deductible when i get around to taking it in.i have roadstar plus so no hit on the ins. premiums.

Due to the fact that my side bar on my drivers side was broken, I took it off yesterday. Now I'm trying to decide if I should leave it off, or have another set put on. Your thoughts/comments/photos to convince me yay or nay are appreciated.

Got my running boards on! Big fan of the look. They are the Tyger Risers. Got them off Amazon for 160! I think they look great and seem really stout. Putting them on was a breeze and now just to see how they hold up!
