Finally got around to finishing the front bumper. Im pretty pleased the wait it turned out, may end up building a rear one here in a few weeks.

I have always been curios, what do you do with the sensors or whatever there is for letting the truck know it needs to deploy the airbag?

I really don't know how that works, but figured there has to be something in there for that.

That’s a good question; i didn’t see any harness associated with such sensors. Only harness I found was for my factory fog lights. Maybe it’s an inertia sensor located somewhere else?

I think I still see chrome lug nuts there, if so, you're not quite done with the chrome delete yet.

Got some gloss black door handle covers to match my gloss black emblems and cover up my sad grayish black plastic stock ones. Looks much cleaner.

I’m in the same boat as him. Can’t get myself to spend the $ on quality black lug nuts & locks. And I won’t buy the cheap set, that will look like crap soon either.

I got a black set on Amazon and they've held up great for 1.5 years, thru winter grime too. Have had the wheels on and off several times. They do have some wear but for all intents and purposes very much still look black with zero rust issues.

I have a 2011 so make sure it's the right thread pitch, size, etc. I can't remember the difference between model years.
