Also replaced the batteries in my key fobs. They both stopped working at the same time and the one I usually use didn’t show any signs of dying. Locked the truck, went out later to get some stuff out of my truck and nothing... tried my back up fob and nothing... Luckily I had a set of batteries for them in the house. I’ve had the truck for just over two years, so you may want to change your batteries if it’s been about that long.

Its funny setting here reading that your batteries went dead that soon got me thinking about mine being 2yrs old and I will be on the lookout for them to die.

Then I got to thinking about the key fobs on my 1998 Explorer , one died about 5 yrs ago and the other one is still going strong and never been changed..lol
Then I thought about it and it has never had a light bulb changed but the lower driving lights, all other lights are still factory..lol

Truck says, "How about a little wax too, it's been a long cold winter" :D
Jay
LOL
Already got that covered Jay. She's got a ceramic coating on her. Doesn't really need the wax.
I'll probably have it done professionally again next year.

Got my DDM Tuning 35w HID Canbus kit installed. These are H1 projectors. Everything plug and play, just had to modify the dust caps and seal everything back up.

The fogs are Morimoto 5000k LEDs and the HIDs are 5500k. Once they warm up the color is very close. Can't wait to check things out this evening but it looks so much better now the fogs and low beams match.99f51dba8d0b6e60c136b9d0fb7e09fd.jpg

Batteries for the key fob are free and installed at the dealer parts counter.

I got one and I love it.

Hi all,
Just joined this forum and wanted to salute.
My first pickup and brand new Granite Crystal 2018 RAM Sport Crew Cab on air suspension, leather, sunroof, 3.92 rear axle, lsd and more.
I already put on it Carven Progressive Exhaust, Pedal Commander, DeeZee tailgate assist, Husky X-act contour liners and LEDs in the cargo lamp and reverse lights.
I'm planning to keep this truck for a long time so money will continue to be thrown into until condition and satisfaction improves:)

Beautiful ride

Finally got some time to work on a couple projects...

First, I hard wired my dash cam into the overhead console. Wired it into the rear window switch. Works great and gets that wire out of my way.

Second, I finally got to install by LED cubes for extra reverse lights. Wired them onto the reverse light of the trailer wiring.

I didn't get a good picture. It was raining and 50 degrees the whole time I was doing the install. This is the best pic I have...

What grille is this and how did you attach the emblem?

Check out e-autogrilles on eBay. Lots of good options for our trucks and cheaper than the usual suspects. Great quality too.

The emblem is the stock one. I broke the mounting tabs off and drilled a tiny hole in each corner of the black portion. From there it is thru-bolted with small black bolts to "suck it up" to the contours of the mesh grille. Worked perfect and you'd never notice the small black bolts unless your staring right at it a foot away.

You planning on hitting an elephant or what---damn!!!!! It's a good thing you put those 4.56's in.
Jay

Lol no kidding. The plastic and layers upon layers of cardboard make these look like ship keels.
