I've been thinking of doing the same. Any reason not to??
I've got no complaints, especially for the price. It's aluminum so it's not very strong, but it does it's job. Tiniest bit of vibration in the lights but only at idle and only I would notice. Took some finagling to get the lights aimed proper since they are a bit lower than the heads but I drove around with them on and nobody flashed me so I call it good. For a $19.49 mount I'm happy.

I posted a couple more pics in my build.

Saturday morning I bought 26-80# bags of concrete and fixed 3 sinkholes in my driveway.
No pics of the load but a few of the finished projects the 1st pic is 22 bags 2nd is 10 bags the last one is 2 bags.
I had 4 bags already that had gotten wet awhile back and put them in the 1st hole. A total of 30 bags. 29dc19f043cbaa424ca45da0259e1ea0.jpgd3579a50310d5503fe447d2375b8e5f1.jpg4c54c91ae722ceaa1505e0344acad7c2.jpg

Ever hit our cars and coffee? I havent in a while... I'm in Evans!
I was really looking forward to going cuz they were meeting at house of hook in Aiken and wanted to get some baseline numbers before I start doing performance mods. Gonna have to get out there at another test and tune.

Evidence of a good time I'd say!! No joke, pull the floor liners, start the truck and turn the vents on full blast and take the leaf blower to that interior, or shop air. With all the doors open. You brought 1/2 the trail home lol

Dunno. I’ll be going with White Knuckle sliders since they bolt up and I’ve seen em in action. Is it a slider or a ski:bleh:

This week, well, actually yesterday, i decided that my key FOB was too big.

It sticks out of the key socket just far enough that occasionally my knee bumps into it. I didnt didn't want to accidentally shut off my engine going down the highway.

Also, any time the wife drives the truck she leaves the seat in a forward position. When i absentmindedly try to get in before adjusting it back, i nearly break the key FOB off in the socket.

I saw these in another post:
KeylessOption Replacement Keyless... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KTIVLHO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

And decided to buy them, cut off the key blade, sand it flush, then program them to my truck with AlphaOBD.

It worked like a champ.

It only sticks out of the socket about an inch. It dont take up much space on the key ring, and is less likely to get hit by my knee.

This is awesome, and is my only single gripe about this entire truck.

Think the dealer could program them for me, I don't have alpha obd. I'm only 5-10 on a good day and have more than once kneed the fob.

Silver is the best color, hose and a little soap and she’s ready to be the newly wed ride at night after being the trail toy in the morning :)
Only thing better is white, doesn't even need waxed to hide my pinstripes!

Yes, without a doubt they can do it. For about a hundred bucks.

So are you using the old key for lock/unlock and remote start?
