I had the paint & body shop that does work for our company” Xzibit Custom Autobody” fix a few minor dings/scratches & cut off the the plastic bracket on the bottom of the front bumper. I removed the bottom trim/valance a few weeks ago but didn’t realize it wasn’t a smooth edge, like it better now. If anyone wants/needs the trim piece just pm me- free just pay shipping

I removed mine a while ago and it’s been bugging me having those things hang down. Can you be so kind to post a close up so I can see where to trim?

I'm contemplating a new project and wanted to see if others have been there or have ideas as well. Already did the search with no luck.

I've a 2011 Quad Bighorn and want to add a rear camera. What makes it different, is that I pull a 24' enclosed trailer occasional to car events, and want to add a camera to the rear of the trailer as well. I do not have the hem tailgate camera, nor the radio for oem display either, so adding a small screen is to be expected

Certainly there are different paths to go, but I'm interested in what others may have already done and the kind of results and success they have had.

Lets see what you got.

Thanks in advance

Might want to check this out for under $100:

Added Rough Country N3 front coil struts with 2" leveling kit. Then added the rear N3 0-3" rear shocks. It still had a squat when towing a 3500lb enclosed trailer. So I added the Airlifter 60818HD coil air bags. Pump up to 35psi and lost the rear end sag and tows better. 83603038394407c62dabdbca5ac95f52.jpg3280fed2245f6f22d744943879da7bf6.jpg3d42c4e25e8088eadf6c59785e9cf14a.jpg383f35e3e2b52b914a7c6fc9560da9cd.jpgb259d174e5fe1127fa44b11e55e1fa28.jpgd38dcf9a6e40f17c9f052caa584a8ffd.jpg4e75d262330a5a2e68ea233e01a7aa7a.jpg

No problem! My guy did tell me it would be a rough edge, I’ll probably get some rubber trim to redo my front fender flares, wasn’t happy with the 90 degree cuts I did. Then use the left over to cover the cut on bumper. I cut the plastic support pieces seemed to intergated into front to remove3F33FDCE-7C62-435E-94BD-69FB43BC5970.jpeg

I have to redo my flares too. I'm going to try hearing the edge guard a bit to make it more forgiving and pliable.

So when you gonna make a thread about this upgrade???
Im almost done. I just cut the other opening yesterday just gotta get some touch up paint for the exposed metal and then im going to seal them with 5200. Hopefully this weekend i can get on truck and show the final project. Ill say this if you have the standard hood but trying to save up for the sport or aftermarket this is the way to go after all said and done i may have $80 in it. Of course the time in it as well but really its not that bad. Thinking about trying the center hood bezel from the 5th gens as well but im not sure if that'll fit.

Mine installed without hitting the factory exhaust tips and all bolts were fine.

Mine hits the exhaust as well. I think there is a way to adjust it but it doesn’t bother me.

The reason you don't want it to touch the exhaust is you don't want it to melt or rattle.

It is close but doesn't touch. I never tried to see if it moves anymore. Although if I wanted larger tips it would most likely be a problem. 304bd586d954fa7418de2e633c47e30b.jpg3b612ecc46a9f4a5e67c2a4695c49e9a.jpgce37c253093b6d7fbe23fa60604688fc.jpg

Had fate decide that I'm ordering tires today. 80mph blow out at 5:45 is better at waking you up than any cup of coffee, let me tell ya. View attachment 225189

FYI, I just got an email from Uconnect and they just released the 2020 navigation map update.

I did AGS delete and 190 stat. Made my own bracket for the stop. 6 to 7 cycles and no light so I am hoping I measured correctly! Time will tell. Gonna do a diablosport pulsar soon. I am impressed with some of the reviews. I know its a slight increase for towing but its super easy to change out for a dealer trip if needed and the MDS of if wanted is nice!

Wish there was a more stealthy option, like right underneath hidden from view until you needed it
