Last week replaced halogens in projectors hi and low beam and fogs with LED's.
Yesterday, did the AGS delete, making my own bracket for it, and works like a champ. No Codes. Drove about 100 miles in highway / local roads to see if it made any difference. Was 88 degrees yesterday and trans temp never went over 171, though. One thing I did that I didn't see anyone in the videos do was remove the rubber side skirts from the shutters and put them back in place to close off sides to the coolers. Just used Gorilla duct tape to hold them in place, but think that stuff will hold permanently.
EDIT: Didn' like having the modified AGS motor mounted down low like the videos (could be a target for water splash), so moved it in behind the radiator core support, in front of the TIPM. Cable was plenty long enough and now it is a lot more protected.
My Vararam Air Grabber Intake comes in tomorrow and we will see how that goes. I need to redesign the lead in angle / ramping of the front intake piece so it doesn't block the tran cooler so much. That should be easy without the grill shutters in there and a heat gun to reform the angle.
