Uh, why is your black more lustrious than my Black?

I think I hate you now.
yep, pretty sure, I do hate you now.

Seen them around, local lumberyards, menards lowes home depot but they all had hooks or were telscoping.
I like that its fixed length and has flat 90° edge to grab stuff and move stuff around.

dont foget to get teh holders. $10 but keeps it up out of the way.
Oh yeah, I definitely got the holder thing too.

nice work? How long did that take?!? Haha
Back up, open garage door, hook up trailer, pull outta garage, check trailer, take off truck, back truck into garage and close garage door. About 12 minutes, roflmao.

Joined the Ram family the other day and picked up a new 1500 Limited 4x4!

Love the Ramboxes - and surprised that other manufacturers haven't devised something similar.

First order of business is adding a retractable tonneau cover - and deciding if I can live with stock tires vs something bigger.

In the meantime, I'll dive into the forums and learn more about these trucks.
Congrats... Nice truck!

Just put gas in and go places. Everyone loves riding in this truck. Now at 10k miles, no complaints here.

For my 2018 Laramie I purchased a Redtiger 4K dual dash cam. Purchased back in 2019 and was about middle of the road as far as price, now its like $150 on Amazon. I have mine powered through the diagnostic link connector under the dash with a special attachment.

Why the need for a dashcam and also, how easy to hardwire? Where do you put the rear camera? Thank you.
Go on Youtube and watch all the videos on crazy drivers and how we all need a dashcam for protection from crazy drivers who will try and blame you for accidents. Mine was easy to wire and running the rear camera was not hard just ran it on the drivers side up and around following the interior molding. I powered mine by using the diagnostic link connector under the dash and purchased a special connector to plug into it that allows the dashcam to be powered all the time.

had one on my 2014 and loved it. With the Window Visors, I can leave my windows cracked. no raqin gets in, ever and what heat does build-up, goes right out. Realy like jumping into the truck, on those Hot Days, and have the truck be same temperature, as the ambient outside air. no more roasting until the wondows allows the heat to disapate and the A/C cools down Dash and seats and carpets to actually keep the vehicle cool.

Worst thign about a Hot Interior, everything gets that Hot and takes forever to actually cold down.
as my Wife is finding out with her Black Leather interior in her Explorer ST that I told her not to get.

Also had the front hitch receiver installed.
Now, I can hook up the camper and put the Wife's bike rack on the front of the truck.

they cut out the two sides for safety chains, which was nice but I will never need.
Had to turn my State mandated front license plate upside down, so now it tilts ever so slightly downwards, but looks fine and does not bother me, in the slightest.
Have sicne realised, is super handy to just put the ball, in the front of the truck, and maneuver the Camper into tight spaces.

Finally got the '22 all lifted, my mechanic put in some hours getting my mixture of Thuren and Carli parts on there. Still need to go get a proper alignment to Thuren specs, but man the difference in ride is noticeable on the short 9 mile drive back from his shop. She just floats down the road and pot holes, dips, road works, etc are just so much better. I cannot wait to see how the fatigue improves when I have those 500-600 mile days of work travel within the state going through construction zones and poorly maintained county roads. I had done alot of back and forth between going all Carli 3.25 or all Thuren with their soft rear springs, but I really like how the mix and match came out. Those R2 springs seem to handle weight well in our quick testing unlike the soft Thuren springs, yet they still ride a whole lot softer than the stock springs. I still have a bit of rake going with the 2.75 fronts instead of Carli 3.25s which is what I wanted for towing/camping/using the truck as a truck. Also the mix match in the valving of the shocks - Thuren Front/Carli Rear seems to be perfectly fine and I didn't notice anything "off" in our quick testing in his back dirt lot or the short drive to the house through a variety of road conditions.

Pictures at my in-town house with a standard 7' garage door for scale.

Short list of what was installed :

  • Thuren 2.75 Front Springs w/ PW Isolators
  • Thuren Fox 2.0 w/ Resi Fronts w/Carli Resi Mounts to give it that smidge of extra lift
  • Thuren Front Trackbar
  • MetalCloak 2 Piece Radius Arms - Similar to the PW setup, but alot beefier; allowed us to push the axle forward a smidge so no trimming was needed for the minor rubbing I did get with my fat toyos. I did not get the lock-n-load arm, but rather two solid upper arms.
  • Front Sumo Springs - Black
  • Carli R2 Rear Springs
  • Carli Fox 2.0 Backcountry (Resi) Rear Shocks w/ CJC Shock Guards
  • Thuren Parking Brakeline Brackets
  • Rear Sumo Springs - Black (I might swap these to blue when running empty, but I wanted to test them out before I do to see if it's really needed)
  • Thuren Trackbar w/Bracket
  • Thuren Sway Bar links

Stuff I already had :

  • Thuren Front Swaybar
  • Synergy Box Brace
  • Fox ATS Steering Stabilizer

No factory option for the Rebel Logo on the rear quarter panels of a '23 Power Wagon Rebel 2500. This is probably due to the different bed length, & wheel well size. The option on the 1500 is $500. So, I went to Fast Signs OkC & showed them the 1500 option. They downsized the decals so it would net lap into my RamBox lids. Also, to reflect my 79.25 years of Maturity. Ha! Looks Factory! Cost was $300, installed. Helluva Buy!

Put in weathertech liners in the front and back; ordered the Magnaflow performance exhaust. Avatar is now accurate.

Added running boards so I don't have to carry a stepstool for the wife.
