I popped off the original cap. I cut out a piece of blue card stock and put that behind it to give it color. Looks better replacing the stock cap instead of just sticking it on imo.
Thanks. The same company you bought from has a number of different options for the shifter cap. I ordered this one

Following similar 3rd and 4th Gen threads, our forum’s 5th Gen community is growing quickly. What did you do with your rig this week?
Had to get service manual to troubleshoot upstream oxygen sensor not working correctly, even though its new. :(

Did an oil chang.
Im trying the Valvoline Restore and Protect, 5w30.
I have a fumoto valve in the oil pan, and it has a small nipple which in a pain to get a hose on it, to make it darin easier with a skid plate in place.
Recently I ran across an adapter that Fomoto sells. It connect firmly to the nippple, and the version I bought has a 90 with a 3/8" barb to attach a hose to.
Works like a dream. easy on and off with not mess.
I collected a sample, and need to send it off to get it analized. My enegine is making some strange noises and I'm hopping nothing bad shows up in the report. Need to try and find who offers a better turn around time that Blackstone.
While I was at it, I swapped out my thermostat and recorded the wierd noise that periodically comes from the engine while running.

Installed one of these on the truck, works great and the instructions are spot on.

Installed the OEM trailer brake controller in my Rebel.

Found the controller on sale from a dealer. Contacted a dealer close to me to have it installed. They quoted just south of $500.
I purchase the OBD II interface and Security Gateway module from Infotainment. Watched their video on install. Did some Yoga, and got to work.

1.5 hours later installed and working. I have less the $400 for all of the parts.

Got some goodies for the hot rod this week. Fuel injector cleaner, stage 2r Eibach coilovers and Zone upper control arms. I have a rear Hellwig sway bar and Core 4x4 endlinks along with some new wheels and tires sitting in the garage too.

I'll try to get it all installed in the next few weeks.

Thanks for hooking me up @Nick@GotExhaust

that is going to be a great riding package you got there. That Eibach Stage 2R kit along with those other parts is a great combo!!

I just replaced the transfer case shift motor as it wouldn't go into 4 Low....still wont..
While I was at it, I serviced it as well, and when I drained it, there wasn't even a pint of fluid in the case....

Replaced the drivers side sunvisor after it broke last week while driving. Reprogrammed the homelink garage door opener that’s on it. Pretty easy to do and didn’t want to use the cheap clips that you buy from Amazon or eBay to fix the old one. Those clips just look horrible and I prefer to have everything repaired with OEM parts and retain the original look.
