I was at a car show up in Edmond (rich kid city) here in Oklahoma and saw a kid with a brand new SS Camaro. His dad was with him and making it worse by taking pictures while the kid made stupid poses by his car. He also was blaring his ****** stereo trying to act cool. Those "kind of kids" **** me off... Just my opinion though.

I go to school with abunch of kids like that to, abunch of them are driving Camaros, Mustangs, etc. all bought by mommy and daddy and they act like they're better then everyone else. I'm not saying all kids that get cars handed to them are like that and I don't have a problem with them. It's the one's that act like their the **** because mommy bought them a brand new car.

I paid for my truck to and pretty much everything that is on it. Yes, my mom and dad have helped me out on some things here and there but I either pay them back or work it off. But since I have a job now, I'm gonna be paying for pretty much all of it.

Ok I'm done, rant over

So back to the subject at hand. Keep in mind that to say you paid $*** AFTER your trade in, isn't very helpful. Better to post what the purchase price of the truck was before your trade in.

$6000 with 120,000 on the clock. I paid 2K, parents paid 2K, grandparents paid 2K

Dont get so upset :p Trust me I deal with it every stinkin day.

I get into my vette at the age of 18, and have nothing but tools bothering me as I walk into walmart or the store.

Little do they know I own a profiting business that makes 170k+ a year. I employ people 20 years older than even them, and I didn't even go to college.

Just the name of the game. People are going to hate. I just shrug and laugh as I get back into the car.

wait your 18 now and you own this??? please tell me what the hell you do man lol

Everybody always asks. The business part isn't that big of a deal. It is the mindset to start one. Not hard to make money. So many little things you can market/sale these days it is ridiculous. Just no need to go out and take thousands of dollars in student loans out to be something you really don't want to be in the first place. Only problem I have now is I am paying 30% of what I make to that... in office. Can't stand the idiot. Of course all the yanks think he is the next jesus or something. They keep telling me he is doing better for me, but my taxes say otherwise. MMMMM Socialism at its best :005:

Hate to put you on spot. But you wanna hire me? Lol

I just purchased a RAm 1500 Laramie last Friday. The sticker price was $47,000. I paid $37,000. THere is a $4000 factory rebate/discount and the dealer put in $6000 towards the deal. I paid 2800 for a "lifetime" extended warranty, which was added to the total.

I traded in a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500, for which I got $20,000 even.

I gave 31 OR 32k for my 06 Ram 1500 Hemi 4x4, fully loaded with leather etc etc...

I gave 10,500 for my 2001 CTD, with 91k miles on it.

Wow, that's like $11k off sticker! What's your secret? Was $26500 before trade in or down payment?

So here's a question. Regardless of brand, they always advertise rebates for different things, such as being military or for trading in a vehicle, etc. but really, those are just excuses for giving a discount right? I mean Chrysler isn't buying my trade in, the dealership is, yet the trade in rebate comes from Chrysler. So if I don't "qualify" for a particular rebate, does the dealer get to keep that money?
