wasnt sure where to post this...
thinking of trading my truck in on another ram. its an 07 qcsb 1500 with a hemi, has 63,000 miles on it, no rust or dents or anything. all black with chrome bumpers. all stock, and they're wanting 16k for it. wish i had a pic of it, maybe ill get one tomorrow if i get off work before it gets dark. what do you guys think? sound worth it? i havent gone in and had my truck appraised or anything yet, just seen it on the lot with the price tag on it.

I'm not a fan of getting a gasser with such high mileage. It all depends how many miles per year you put on it. I would try and look for something with less mileage. Unless you don't put more than 10,000 miles a year on it, then maybe this is worth it.

63K isn't high at all....thats right on the National average with 12,600 miles put on it a year. In his ZIP code, if the truck is an excellent condition, SLT sitting on 20's...that truck easily KBB's at a $22K retail value.

I would also look your truck up first (KBB,NADA) to get an idea of what its value is. That way when you go in you will know if their evaluation is fair.

i dont drive a whole lot of miles a year, town is only 6 miles from where i live and work is less than a mile so needless to say i put very few miles on my truck. 63k is pretty low for me. anyhow i went and looked at it today and test drove it, runs awesome! night and day difference in the power going from the 4.7 to the hemi. they had 16,500 on the truck and wouldnt bugde on the price. somehow and im not sure how in the hell they figured the numbers but they told me 19k otd!! wtf happened??? i owe 3k on my truck now so i dont know what happened with the numbers, it was right at closing time so i didnt have time to ask a whole lot of questions but im thinking they're trying to screw me somehow...

nowhere near what its worth imo. i dont even think they offered me 4k for it. im not sure though, still not sure how they got the 19k... i owe 3k on my truck now so lets say at the least they just pay off my loan, id be starting over basically with the 16,500. is there that much in tax, title, and licence? doc fee also i guess?

Your truck is worth much more than $3,000 in trade...even in fair condition you should get at least $5,000...

And no, there sure as hell isnt $2,500 is tax/tag/lic fees...down here in Florida at the most you'd pay for T/T/L would be $1500 on that truck at $16,500.
