In response to the haters. I absolutely hated the dial shifter at first, because I knew I would forget to put it in park. Well, I guess Chrysler knew this as well. I love the fact that if I forget, the truck takes care of it for me!! Took a few months to get used to it, but I don't mind it at all now.

...that I don't have one. Honestly, I am oldschool and that just seems so foreign to me.

Ehh I deal with lol, still not 100% happy with it but it’s not enough for me to get something else. Feels weird going from the knob to something with a stick or column shifter I always catch myself trying to grab a knob then having a duh moment.

Since I can't have a manual, the knob is fine.

I like how it easily clicks to Park when searching for REV, said no one ever.

I'd prefer buttons to the knob.

The knob is definitely something to get used to. I’d prefer a traditional shifter but it’s not that big of a deal. I have turned the volume or fan speed knob instead of the shift know before lol. And I have reached for the knob wen driving my other car too.

Took a couple weeks for me to get used to it. I didn't like it at first. Especially when doing back and forth turns/manuevers. I would always click past reverse to park and then it would stop abruptly. I don't mind it now. I'm sure all new trucks will have some sort of electronic shifter in the near future anyways. To be honest I mistake the climate control knob for the volume know more than anything haha

Not a thing I like about it, but I did find myself grabbing for the 4wd knob instead of the console shifter after I drove my 17 for a couple days and then hopped back in the 11 so I guess I was adjusting to it subconsciously.

Its ok. Slammed it into park quite a few times in the begining. Takes time to teach an old dog new tricks...lol

I don't mind it at all. I really liked the knob on the Durango R/T (when others didn't) as its small and unobtrusive. I'm a big guy (tall)...and the more room I have the better.

I've had my truck almost 2 years now. I love it. Didn't take any getting use to. The only complaint I have is that my MB has a traditional console mounted shiftier. Far too often when putting the MB into park, I keep reaching up for the dial on the dash...

I really didn't mind it a first, now looking at my son's new Challenger I wish my sport had one like his, would have gone better for the whole sport theme.

13,000 miles and a year later, dont care for it at all and would rather have column shifter.
