What’s goes in here? 22 Ram Mega Cab behind back seat passenger side?

Not much. I have a few little items in there on my 22. Was the same on my 18 Megacab. If it was made for something specific, I've never heard or read about it.

I don't think you can remove it. I'll take a closer look next time I'm in there though.

No, way too small for that. I looked in mine today and the "insert' is bolted in. I didn't remove it, but believe it is not for storage under there. The open storage area would maybe fit a couple cans of pop. The storage area on the other side of the truck is much larger/deeper, and has it's own access door.

It's purpose is just as a storage area, as far as I know. But the one on the passenger side is pretty near useless.

I'm not sure what you mean about the lid. The lid is the same on both sides. This is my 2nd megacab truck and I've never read or heard of anything special that goes in there. There was certainly no option for something to put in there on the order form of my 22 Ltd Longhorn. But if someone knows of something it was made for, I'm all ears.

What sound system do you have? That is where the GD Subwoofer goes, under that preformed panel, allegedly.

Not in owners manual I could find. Some HD sites says a subwoofer is in that area, under the panel, Heck, I not know, LOL, Internet Guessnosis.

Mega cab rear seat storage HELP!!

Can someone please tell me what this plastic lump is and if I can remove it or not? I took out the two 10mm bolts but still can’t get it out!
