What a beautiful Truck! I want a cap SO BAD! I bought a flat top, which is great- But I really want a red painted cap. (do you mind me asking, how much was your cap?)

had done plenty more to my 2010 sport crew 4x4 short bed. 2" HBS levelling kit, Bilstein 5100's, BFG KO2's, bakflip tonneau (used) and audio sstem 2 JL 10" subs, JL amp and kenwood head unit.

last fall sold it and got a loaded 2015 longhorn crew 4x4 6.4" bed. that was my biggest mod expense (for a longer bed, leather and sunroof) LOL

other than an air aid cold air intake and a pedal commander. a must IMHO opinion now that I've had it a couple of months and driven with and without. it provides the simulated effect that makes you pretend you don't have the horrible 3.21 gear ratio when you really do



currently in heavy research mode but think I'm getting close to placing the order. going to find some used but nearly new stock front struts/coils and rear OE spring isolators. to be done with the factory air suspension. order the Inez 4/6 4x4 lowering kit. about $1400 USD shipped i think. then convert to our horrible cdn, so around $1800 cdn.

then, IF I can someone meticulous and intelligent enough.. and reputable, to take it to to do the install. as far as I know nobody anywhere around my area are into things like this. I figure if they install lifts, they can figure out a lowering kit. ?? also have my eye on some used 22" srt10 style wheels (305/45/22) at the moment that I'm going to see tonight.

What I don't get is why there aren't more 1-3 gen users getting confused? Its almost always exclusively 4th gens, do gens 1-3 barely have any activity on the forum? Or do most of them use a laptop or desktop rather than the app?

Since I had some time to burn, I went through and counted. As of post 63, 43 of the posts were non 5th gen related, not including the 4-5 posts between the staff member and yourself. So really only about 15/63 posts here were about 5th gens.

Trailer brake control. $450. I bought my 2015 used. It had no brake control and off my '09 wasn't combatable. I'm now looking at getting it Ziebarted, another large expense.

Total installed was $3100! I’m very happy with the quality! I think it adds to the look and versatility! Main door keyed like the truck! Windoors have their own locks!

Unfortunately to achieve this I believe you'd need to title future threads something like this:

Even then I wouldn't be surprised to see some 4th gens, but hopefully not 75-80% of the thread. However, I do enjoy the conversations a lot of your threads start, so I appreciate that.

Didn't even notice it was in the 5th Gen forum. That's the problem with looking at posts through the New Posts menu, there's no indicator as to where the thread is.

I did the same thing. Now that I realized what I did, I'm much more conscious of what section I'm in before I post... BTW, I think adding the "5th gen" in the title made it pretty obvious. I posted in here before it said that.

That's too funny. I just installed these myself today as well. I always go with the Husky liners. I think these fit better and love the rear full floor coverage.

Put a $100 deposit to schedule a ceramic coating to be done starting Saturday. Went with a company in Chesapeake Va, Diamond Auto Detail, that is going to install GTechnique Crystal Serum Ultra, with a 9 year warranty, including the Glassparency windshield protection with 3 year warranty. Total $2k. Crazy, but I want to see how well they work, I’ve never had either on any vehicle.

My BakFlip cover - but unfortunately it isn't a happy purchase. The cover was supposed to ship with bumpers that protect the rear cab and they were left out of the box. Called, emailed, wrote customer service - so far nothing but run around and excuses. I won't do business with them again.
