Anyone running a 2.5 level and 1.5 body with 305 55 20s?

How hard is the 3" PA body lift to install yourself? I've put lifts and leveling kits on my previous jeep wranglers and trucks but have never installed a body lift. And how does the tow/receiver hitch look after body lift is installed? I want it to look just like factory. Don't want anything hanging down

If you follow the instructions it's not that difficult. Just takes time.
As for hanging down (lower) your exhaust and hitch will.
Hitch isn't bad and exhaust you'll want to have it adjusted.
You'll maybe want gap guards to hide the engine bay in the front. Those are $65. So not bad.
But 4th gets hide body lifts pretty well.

Well I don't want the hitch hanging down much at all because i use it tow with. Im not sure I want to run any bigger than a 305 55 20. I like the height of the 275 65 20 but it looks to narrow. Looks like a might just get the new zone 1.5" body lift. Really would like to run the 295 60 20 but my truck isn't getting very good mpg stock so I'm afraid to go much bigger than stock.

The hitch receiver hanging down will have no effect on towing as far as I can tell, and it not moving means you don't need to get a new drop hitch

If that is all you are going to run tire size, I would not do the body lift.
1) although its cheaper, it does take 3-4 times the length of time to install it
2) just do a level at 2", you will not run into any issues
3) I personally would run Bilsteins and set them at 2.1 (settle at 1.9-1.95")

The ride and level of the Bilsteins is worth the additional funds. Not that there is anything wrong with level spacers.

If ever down the road you decide to throw a lift on, the Bilsteins can be stacked, level spacers CANNOT unless they are a pre load but those are far and few

Now if you want 3", then I would recommend a body lift. But anything less, do a level
Let me know if you need any assistance on parts

In my opinion, the truck looks good and the guy taking it knew not to take it directly from side view as it would not look proportionate.
If you've seem trucks with small tires, this follows those.
I would honestly recommend a 34" or 34.5" skinny (295) tire

Do you think the 2nd truck has 305 55 20 as well. I was really wantin to run the 305 55s because it's really easy to find a good used set where I live because alot of guys around here run that size. But I looked at the tire weights and the 305 55 is actually heavier than a 295 60

Yup. Looks like the same truck.
I'd do the 295/60 if I was in your shoe.
I'd go lighter in weight and taller vs wider and not so tall

Yea i think that's what I might try to do. I love the look of a 4" lift and 34s. What are you running on your truck and how's your mpg?

Im running 37x14x18 (355/65/18 Nitto Terra's)
I have ran Toyo MT and Nitto Trails recently too.
I have tried all possible options to better my MPG and I am not back to stock MPGs'
I do have my gears done to, BP's Ported TB, Vararam, Tuner with WhiteLightning customer tune among few of the engine mods.

But previous to all this and stock 3.55 on 37's, I almost killed myself...lol

But 34's will not change your MPG a whole lot. I would say you will lose 1- 1.5MPG at most, add a tuner and it should bring you back close to stock.

Plus those 34's are thinner and as you said lighter.....so all is good.
