They are small weights used help eliminate NVH, or Noise, Vibration and Harshness. These in particular are used to eliminate unwanted frame harmonics that can cause rattles throughout the truck.

I took mine off just to see if I could notice any difference.
Nope.
So I just left them off. I kept them just in case, but so far so good.
