Ok i am looking at getting some mods done with my bonus in a few weeks, so question is, do i go with a sct tuner, or headers and catback.i am just wondering whatbis the best bang for my buck. Also on catbacks, magnaflo or flowmaster? Only mods i have now are cai, and wheels and tires, also its a 99 1500 5.9

IMO, the tuner is gonna be the best at $265 for overall driveability and power increases. My headers dyno gave me about a 1/3 power of the tuner dyno.

I will have to agree with hemifever. If you get an SCT with lifetime tunes every mod you can then retune. So it will pay for itself eventually. I have a canned tuner on my truck and it really didn't make a bit of difference. Sometimes I wonder if stock was better. lol

But I would start with a tuner then do headers and intake.
