I use the bluestuff year round , however I add 1oz of liquid dish soap to the bottle before putting in the truck . No issues but it leaves a little film where it oversprays.

I use blue yellow or pink fluid what ever one i can get cheap and good for minus -25 or Lower and add a little bit od rubbing Alcohol or a touch of gas line antifreeze to keep the lines and squirters from freezing and it from freezing on the windshield I also when i wash and clean the truck i put RainX on all of my glass Windshield door glass and back glass it works great ! I believe if you read the bottle and instructions it says to keep RainX off of Painted surfaces ! I COULD BE WRONG

i switched over the the green Rain x this winter suppose to help with ice and frost.. Best i have ever used it seems to leave a film on the window so ice does not form.. This summer if i need to top up i will be switching over to the summer for sure. Not going to worry about saving $2

Purple stuff that goes to -35F or whatever.
Never again getting caught with anything else in fall when a cold snap happens.

I live in the South, and I use only Rain X orange windshield glass cleaner. I can drive 60 mph in light rain, and never have to turn on the windshield wipers. The rain is blown up the windshield so, it doesn't accumulate on the glass.

Have any here tried http://www.aquapel.com/

I have been using it for years. The harder it rains, and especially at highway speeds; no wipers needed at all, and it lasts a long time on the windshield.

I put it on my mirrors and both front windows as well.

I reapply annually and never have issues with this product.

It's not like RainX glass wax/sealer where it sits on top of the glass and wears away.
This is a two-part chemical application that etches into the glass and bonds with it.
I use that stuff with the applicator. Live it better then rain x. I use it for detailing cars to

I use the Prestone brand deicer. I used to use Rain X until I noticed it coating the inside of the reservoir and hoses orange. That looked like pending trouble. I've been using the Prestone over 10 years with no issue.
