So I actually got to use my truck for the first time the past couple of days. We are replacing a couple of retaining walls so I needed to get some sort of base to go under them. Instead of paying $100 to have sand and gravel delivered I ended up hauling it myself in 3 trips. The first trip was with 1 yard of 21aa crushed limestone, 2nd trip was 1.25 yards of the same and the 3rd was 1/2 yard of **** sand. I must say I could get used to not bouncing my way down the road! The 2nd trip was obviously the heaviest but I forgot to grab the tape measure, but I did get pictures of it. The first trip I did measure at the rear wheel well on the passenger side, it was about 44.5" unloaded and just under 39" loaded. The pictures are of trip two. So what is the most anyone else has done with their HD's?

Fully loaded with h2o, gear and inlaw(s) we were knocking down 95% of the GCVWR. I'm with you; there's nothing like the smooth ride when yer fully loaded.

A full pallet of wet bags of mulch. I did some math and figured it was between 1800-2000 pounds :waytogo:

Scaled at 18,500 combined with Toyhauler with rzr and atv. Have towed short distance with my 68 Barracuda in it instead.

Just payload I hauled a pallet of wood pellets for my dad.

I've only had mine since February so I've only really used it one time as a "real" truck. 1000-1200 pounds in the bed towing a UHaul 6x12 which was roughly 5-6,000 pounds. Not even a strain on the truck but it was nice having the weight in it for the ride comfort.

I've towed 10000+ a few times. I usually have 4000-6000 though. 373 gears do great for what I do but I don't think I'd want to try over 12000-13000 with them.

Was pretty excited about picking up mulch last weekend. Heaviest load so far, next closest was just a pallet of printers for work. Still working on buying a 5th wheel.

56 bags of mulch, little wet. Just went out and weighed one of them at 54 lbs... just a hair over 3000 lbs, but the auto air system jacked it right back up without issue...

4,000 pounds with no air bags. Bottom picture is stock, top only modification are the Torklift Stableloads. So quit a bit of sag... Definitely need airbags and glad I have them

Wow. And they (ram) consider it safe to travel down the road with that much sag. Or is their fine print that it says they reccomend air bags at a certian weight.

Oo. I thought it was 4000. So basically mine would look just as bad with 4000
